Jenn Holmberg

Purple Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Meet Jenn Holmberg, she started her Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in April 2018. She is currently a purple belt and the women’s only jiu-jitsu instructor.

After 25+ years as a dancer, choreographer, and instructor, she had to transition into a sport to repair the joint and muscle damage done over the years from dancing.

Training Jiu Jitsu at NWMA Coos Bay has changed her life. She has traveled to Costa Rica multiple times to enhance her knowledge of the sport while learning different teaching styles while training at Hero BJJ Academy in Tamarindo.

Jenn has a deep passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with others. She started this sport to learn to get away from an attacker should the need arise and has fallen in love with every aspect of it. Jenn is honored to teach Women’s Only BJJ at NWMA Coos Bay.
